Pros:

1.Location is great. Close to many restaurants, bars, north market, short north and downtown.

Cons:

1.The leasing office staff are extremely rude to the residents and their guests. The attitude and customer service within that office is almost unbearable.

2.Maintance requests takes weeks to months to fulfill.

3.For the price, quality of just about everything in the apartment is mediocore. Things started to fall apart within a month of living there

4.Lack of parking is always a problem on weekends

I only lived at Flats on Vine ...

I only lived at Flats on Vine for a month before I started looking for someone to take over my lease. Worst offense was that they make you pay $65/month to park in the lot and then sell it out every weekend for special event parking or for people going to the bars, and they don't save enough spots for residents. So we would often come home around 8:30 on Saturday night with no where to park. It's sad when you pay that much to live in a place and then basically aren't able to leave on Saturday nights. The place is mostly inhabited by people in their early 20's, many of whom are having their parents pay their rent and subsequently trash the pool area on weekends. I saw a few guys stumble around the parking lot, then go to the bathroom on the side of the building. Once we saw a plant that had been ripped out of the ground and thrown on someone's car. I am thankful every day that I found someone to take over my lease.

Lots of loud trains units are ...

Lots of loud trains units are overpriced staff is crazy and will fine you for every little thing and they are alway sticking notes in your door letting you know what they will be paying for next pool is small and overcrowded the units are kind of cheap for what you pay there is not enough parking for all the residents so sometimes you come home to find that there is no place to park in the lot that you pay for every month.
