A co-worker recommended me to go here to get my hair locked. She said that she paid $90 for her starter locks and I figured since our hair was the same length and the texture was similar that I'd pay around the same price give or take a few. So when I went to my consultation the women (the owner supposedly) seemed really nice and professional at first. She gave me a trial lock and I liked what I saw so I asked how much it would be and before she could answer me she started rambling on and on about her credentials (red flag) and then tells me that my hair is really long and that it'll be $350!!! Now my hair isn't extremely short but it is nowhere near that long. She pretty much tried to take advantage of me because I look young and I told her I didn't do much research. Anyways after she gave me the price she became ratchet and rude and kept getting smart with me while her other clients sat and listened. I felt disrespected and I definetly cancelled the actual appointment after that. This all just happened yesterday so that let's you know how upset I was. Don't go here, she's a major schemer.

DON'T waste your time or your money going to this salon. You are better off doing your hair yourself. I found this place through an internet search and made an appointment via phone for a deep conditioning and braid out. On the website the service fee was listed as $45 and up and when i spoke to the woman over the phone i asked her the fee and she said it depends on the length of my hair. I told her my hair was barely touching my shoulders and she said okay. I made the appointment for 1pm that weekend, i arrived at the salon 10 minutes early i was surprised the hair stylist was not there. Two other were already there also waiting; after 15 mins of just waiting the stylist called via the salon phone and informed us that she is running late because she's getting McDonald's for her grand daughter and apologized. After the phone call she still didn't arrive until 1:35pm, by that time another client arrived so now there's four clients (including myself). She told us that all of the services we wanted wouldn't take long and had myself and two other clients at the bowl washing our hair and locking the other clients hair at the same time. long story short i didn't get out of the salon until 6:00pm, I wasted five hours of my time. The things that irritated me through this whole process 1. She was the only stylist providing services to several clients(that's crazy). 2. She talked way too much and used the bathroom three times which took 15 mins each. 3. She tried to peer pressure me into taking a picture on her phone for her website. 4. She tried to charge me $75 for the service saying that's her minimum charge, even though it clearly states $45 and up on her website. 5. My hair looked Horrible, it was still wet when she took the braids out because i didn't have enough time to dry my hair because i was going to be late for work if i stayed any longer. BTW, when i left the salon the other client that was there before me was not even close to having her hair done. IF you value your TIME and MONEY go some where else.
