When I telephoned the broker, I identified myself as a local broker and that I was looking for something in the Short North for a client and that I had seen his name and number on a sign.

This broker was extremely rude, refused to give out any information on what his sign was placed on, and made derogatory comments. Example: when I described the building as being in the Short North, very close to the south campus border on high street on the west side, he said to me, "there is a little four digit system you can use like an address" and refused to cooperate in any way whatsoever. He refused to share any information about buildings he had his signs on and instead continued to ask questions about me personally. This realtor did not appear to be interested in representing the clients that own these buildings. Although I remained very professional and attempted to gain information for my client, the realtor refused to identify if he had something for lease, sale or how much space etc.
