Provided by YP.comI can't say enough about how positive our experience with LDBB has been. Our two year old son attends the Harrison West (previously Short North) location and has been there since he was 4 months old. I was very concerned about daycare since he is our first child, but it has been AMAZING! The teachers and administration are incredible - highly dedicated to each child and their learning and development with such an individual approach. Our son has built such great connections with the teachers in each of the rooms where he has been - he talks about them outside of school, and we use some of them as babysitters as well. He is developing socially and intellectually through the direct efforts of the LDBB staff. It often takes us quite a while to leave at night because our son wants to go say bye to the other teachers.
As a parent, the LDBB staff is always accessible and incredibly responsive to our questions, concerns, and requests. They never make me feel uncomfortable for asking questions and are always willing to go outside of the norm if my son needs anything. They use an app to stay in touch throughout the day and are very good about posting videos and pictures to keep up with what the children are doing. We get thorough recaps at the end of each day as well.
I would highly recommend LDBB - not only are we, as parents, so happy, but our son is as well!

Provided by YP.comFYI, I suspect the poor reviews are not authentic. Based on the quality of the grammar and information provided, those individuals are either trolls or people I am very glad don't want to be involved with LDBB. My children have attended LDBB since they were eight weeks old. The staff are wonderful and knowledgable. There is staff turnover because the staff is young and advancing through life, like young, motivated individuals should. The staff do a much better job raising my children than I do! Seriously, my kids randomly exhibit some form of new knowledge all the time (from science and sports to Spanish and art). Whenever I have randomly stopped by, the Children have been working, eating, playing, or sleeping. In over four years, I have never experienced anything like the review below described. Most importantly, my children look forward to going to LDBB in the mornings and don't want to leave in the afternoon. It is very comforting to know they really enjoy each day they spend at LDBB.

Provided by YP.comMy daughter went to LDBB from the time she was three months old and is now thriving in Kindergarten. My son is in preschool there and not only do we love it, HE loves it. We have made lifelong friends with the families of the children our kids have met there. This is not a daycare, it is a family. The attention and care given to our children was second to none. We would send our kids back to LDBB one million times out of a million! Thank you, LDBB!!

Provided by YP.comI am a teacher as well as a parent of a student currently at LDBB. I feel so privileged to work in such an amazing teaching community full of support, passion, encouragement, and friendship. As a parent, I feel so confident in the care my toddler is getting from the teachers. From the daily messages and pictures to the silly stories at the end of the day, I know that my child is in the very best hands :). I would highly recommend LDBB for prospective families looking for child care and for potential teachers looking for a wonderful environment to work in.

Provided by YP.comI LOVE LDBB. They do an amazing job of engaging children with age-appropriate curricula (from infant to pre-K2) and serve fresh, healthy foods. Staff standards are high and the management is regularly promoting teachers. (read: happy staff) Never have I ever been concerned about my child's safety, happiness or well-being here - that was a tremendous relief, having heard a myriad of horror stories from other parents. High behavior and kindness standards. Well worth the cost. The extended hours (6:30-6:30) were a big selling point for me as a single parent. I only hope I can find a primary school education that matches this experience!

Provided by YP.comI am extremely pleased with the care my children receive at Little Dreamers Big Believers. I have two children (ages 3 and 1) at LDBB. The teachers are fantastic at every level. They genuinely care about my children and it shows! More importantly, I trust them and my kids love them.
I'm always impressed at the number of activities and art they do (even in the infant room). From music to gymnastics to experiential learning. I also appreciate the attention to dietary requests/requirements/restrictions and the variety of wholesome meals provided. As a working parent, I find it extremely convenient that LDBB provides all meals and snacks (beyond breast milk/formula) as well as all diapers and wipes. It's a huge convenience!!! Overall LDBB has been an outstanding experience for our family!

Provided by YP.comI have three children currently enrolled at LDBB and I love the team, facilities, and food that are a part of the experience. My children have blossomed under the LDBB curriculum and the teachers are like part of our family. Highly recommend.

Provided by YP.comChildren's are Safe, but extremely mediocre teachers with a few amazing ones sprinkled in. High turnover. Chaotic, dysfunctional rooms for the most part, with the teachers more concerned with their petty battles than properly running a room. Management/ownership- atrocious. You'll only find out the first time you have a problem because they sure turn on the smiles until then. The owner doesn't understand business and customer service and has hired immature unprepared 'management' who are just interested in themselves and the center's gossip. Overpriced for the quality of care.

Provided by YP.comI concur with the negative reviews below. It's a marketing scam about being organic. The teachers are young, some seem like they are tweaked out on who knows what and there are a few really good ones sprinkled in but because they pay so low (I know after having hired some to sit for me) and their turnover so high most of those with longevity are friends/family of the owner and her mother. They pick and choose who they "like" off their waiting list and the children are placed at certain centers based on how they think they will "fit in" with the demographics (white versus gay versus mixed races). This is a fact. They are overpriced and they make it seem so amazing with extras like tumbling and spanish and cooking classes but really the all day setting and curriculum is a total scam. Check on their violations too - they never pass without issues. This place should be run out of business just for the lying and conniving they do. Every day is a GREAT day and the kids are great - until they get old enough to tell you otherwise and you show up mid-day to see the meltdowns and unhappy children. I yanked my kid after 3 mid-day surprise visits. I was horrified at the conditions. They make it seem all great during regular drop offs and pick up times and during parent tours. Catch them off guard and see what's really going on.

Provided by YP.comWe have been with LDBB for 5.5 years. I think the food is wonderful, the teachers are wonderful, the management is always available and easy to deal with. The curriculum is fantastic and the extras - dance, music, Spanish, gymnastics - are really great for the kids. My kids love going to school and I have not experienced problems. The reason there is a long wait list is because it's so wonderful. As for food - they provide a wide range of delicious meals that gets kids to try different foods - my kids come home raving about the food. This place deserves 10 stars!

Provided by YPmobileI experienced this place first hand..the standards r low, real low..SOME of the food is organic, but not at all child. The children throw it away.Everything is done for show but the real contents of the day r inferior to a urban child care setting.i wouldnt send my child there...u pay a bunch of money for a program that totally sucks.Be sure to ask and see the teachers so called DEGREES because they'll tell u they got em.Try JCC or North Broadwa, CColumbus Montessori, or Indianola Children's Center.much better buys for the money
appropriate .

Provided by YP.comI'm sure this place is great, assuming you can get your kid into it. We toured the place in June based upon a recommendation from family. Everything sounded good so we paid the deposit. We were told they would definitely have a spot when the baby came. Baby came in November, and we called to let them know we were still on for end of January/early February. Come to find out, our deposit didn't mean anything!
We emailed as soon as the baby was born. They did not respond to our email. Finally, they sent out a mass listserv email to an unknown number of people who I'm sure were also told they were "guaranteed a spot" to "clarify" their wait list policy (the policy in the email was completely different from what we were told when we toured the place and completely different from the information they gave us in a packet). Apparently, you aren't really guaranteed a spot and they will get you in whenever they feel like it.
What's the point of putting down a deposit if it doesn't guarantee anything? I feel like this place is attempting to take on too many clients, making promises they can't keep, and causing a lot of parents a good deal of frustration.
The wait list policy is spot on with their policy for switching your child from part-time to full-time. They really have no idea when they can get your child in and have no idea when your child can go from part-time status to full-time. The place is completely mis-managed and unprofessional.
Like I said above, I'm sure this place is great if you can get your kid in, but be warned that when the time comes, you may need a backup day care. I can't recommend this place to anyone. The last thing parents with a newborn need to do is go rushing around to find a day care. I guess giving Little Dreamers Big Believers an eight month notice isn't enough.
