Formed in 2001, Multicultural Center works to promote initiatives to achieve cultural consciousness among all students. Based in Columbus, Ohio, the center supports specific constituency groups, including African-American, Asian-American, Hispanic, gay, lesbian, transgender and faith communities, to name a few. It offers a series of programs, including community celebrations of cultural heritage, cultural awareness events/lectures/movies and community-building dialogues/trainings. Multicultural Center also offers prejudice reduction, conflict resolution and diversity leadership workshops for students, staffs and faculties.
