They do not answer calls. They lowball you on damages. They are scam artists.

Nationwide is the WORST insurance company I've ever had. I had nothing but problems with this company since getting it and NONE of their Customer Service Representatives would do anything to help me, or even call me back when they said they would. "We'll look into the problem and call you back" is all I ever heard from them and no one would, and when I'd call to inquire no one knew anything about it. The Representatives apparently DON'T note the computer of your problems and complaints and don't investigate them. I was paying $117 a month for a while and because of an error on THEIR website while I was paying my monthly bill the payment started to go through on my bank and then disappeared. They cancelled my policy without me getting any notifications in the mail and then upped my premium to $148 a month when I reinstated. I told them about the problem with the website and that when I noticed that the payment disappeared I called to inquire about whether or not the payment went through or not and didn't want to get charged twice, I was told they'd look into it and get back to me. They never did, and when I'd call back they'd "Still be looking into it" It almost seemed like they purposely screwed me over so I'd pay them more per month. Then I cancelled when I found a better company and no one told me there was a charge and I received nothing in the mail, yet I get a letter 2 months later for collections saying I owe them $60 for cancelling my policy. It would've been nice if someone told me that when I was on the phone cancelling with a representative. Beware of this Company, if they screwed me over so badly, they'll do it to other people too. Nationwide is NOT on your side!
