Founded in 1960, St. Francis DeSales High School is recognized as an Exemplary Blue Ribbon School by the Department of Education. It provides educational opportunities in the Catholic tradition and helps in developing student s spiritual, intellectual and social skills. The school provides education to more than 900 students. It offers special programs and advanced-placement courses in calculus, calculus-based physics and European history. It also offers various courses in inorganic and organic chemistry, government and politics, psychology and English. The school has a math lab, writing center and an academic resource center. It provides students with tutoring and group study sessions. St. Francis DeSales High School is approved and chartered by the State of Ohio Board of Education, the Diocese of Columbus and the National Catholic Education Association.
