On 12/29/09 my husband and myself went into this apartment complex to fill out apps for an apartment. At this time we had to place a $40.00 fee for said apps and a $50.00 deposit to hold the apartment pending the app outcome. Due to credit history beyond our control our app was denied. We were told that the $50.00 deposit that we placed at the time would be refunded to us. It is now 01/27/10 and after several calls to this apartment complex in regards to the wereabouts of our deposit we have gotten the run around on why these funds have yet to be returned. I have ask to be given the corporate name and number and have been denied that as well. I have spoken with both ladies in this office and have been given two different stories. I was first told that the check for the deposit was sent out the week of the 18th of January and would be received by weeks end..Then I was told on the week of the 25th of January that the check was being sent out and would be received by weeks end. I have yet to see this check. After speaking once again with a certain employee today, January 27th that they would issue a new check and have it sent to there office allowing me to come and pick it up. So, tell me, if they orginally mailed out a check the week of the 25th in my name to my address then why would they turn around and issue yet another check in my name. To anyone reading this I recommend highly that you take all things into consideration before deciding you want to live at this apartment complex. If they lie to potentional residences then they will surely lie to those that have already signed a year lease with them.
