Every thing about this place screams "Top of the Line!".

My husband and I us to live close to yanis but moved away years ago. This was his favorite place to eat and now for every special occasion I am told he wants yanis for his gift..lol. He always gets gyros with extra sauce. The chicken gyro is a must try as well it has a hint of cinnamon that makes it perfect.

Yanni's is always great!!! Yanni, himself, is behind the counter most of the time. The waitstaff are outstanding. The food is always freshly prepared. I frequently go there for lunch and dinner. Start with Kopanisti, a very spicy Greek cheese type appetizer with pita. Nobody prepares it as well as Yanni. Everytime we visit our daughter in Cincinnati we must take her a double portion. Also try Yanni's Greek Salad with Gyro meat on top. It's huge and delicious. In the evening eat a large Yanni's Greek Salad with Athena Pasta both which come with delicious Feta on top Yes, the Gyros with Yanni's tzatziki sauce is great. I've only eaten a small one as they are large. The Gyro meat is excellent there. The lentil soup is also excellent. These are my favorites but the menu is quite large and all the customers I've seen there are quite happy with their selections. Yanni also does a big take-out business. I'm actually salivating writing this review. It is very busy at prime time lunch and dinner hours so plan accordingly.

better than grapevine and nazereth

This restaurant has great prices, huge portions, and is so good. It is a bit small and like allot of the mom and pop restaurants, the ambiance isn't much....but, the food makes up for it 10 fold. A must try. Gyros are enormous. The large is bigger than most places biggest. I have never seen the biggest gyro available, the large has always been more than enough. Great!
