My boyfriend and I found this apartment through Craigslist. I called the landlord on 2/26/13 to inquire about the 1 bedroom apartment. He said that he will have openings in May or June and advised that I come on 2/28/13 to view the apartment. I called him on 2/28/13 to confirm our appointment for 5pm, and he said it was still going to work out.



After driving 45 minutes and leaving work early to come visit this apartment, he tells us that he doesn't have an apartment for us to view... And was asking about how much we make monthly, and discriminating against us saying we would need a cosigner and that we don't make enough money to live in a $600 apartment, when we currently live in an apartment with a monthly rent of $820...



I was very aggravated when I left, because he just wasted my gas and time when he could have called me during the afternoon saying that he no longer had an apartment to show us.



I called the Property Owner and complained, he just came up with excuses, and NEVER APOLOGIZED. He was yelling over the phone, and hung up on me.





BEWARE.

DO NOT RENT HERE....

This place was the worst place I have ever rented from . I was discriminated against by the elderly apartment managers. They went into my apartment when I was gone to "fix something" with out notification. The managers lied to me about not having any golf course side apt. Available. My guess is they wanted to watch what I did ( which is exactly what they did). Invaded my privacy. Electric was outstanding expensive for a single mom and kid.(175 per month)

Despite all the issues I was having the property owner was a unprofessional and negative person. (Scott)



Do yourself a favor and stay clear from these apartments !!
