I have been an agent for over 10 years NOW. And MY greatest pleasure is meeting NEW people and caring for the needs of their vacations. I have enjoyed cruising on multiple cruise lines. And visited several ALL inclusive resorts. I have done intensive training SO that I could acquire the knowledge needed to DO this for YOU. . . . ETC. Sandals resorts certified. Freestyle specialist certified for norwegian cruises lines. Just to name a FEW. I recently became a SNG certified accessible travel advocate. Providing special need equipment for travelers that MAY need wheelchairs. Oxygen. BEDS…ETC. During their vacations. I think to BE a good travel agent YOU need to BE able to listen. And listen carefully! it is important to understand what MY clients want before I CAN suggest to them a destination.
