I am a regular at buttercup and I always have a great experience there. I am particularly satisfied with the service I receive from a particular waitress. I cannot remember her name but she is sort of short with dark hair and blue eyes and an extremely bubbly personality. I enjoy coming in on my weekend mornings with my husband and kids and she is our waitress 9 times out of 10 and I am glad thats the case. I highly recommend coming in and asking for her as your waitress I guarantee you will not be disappointed.

There is a group of us women who used to eat here weekly up until today. Some days we'd order food, and lots of it, and some days we'd order just coffee. We're only here about an hour or so, and most of the time its at the time that the restaurant isn't very busy. Today we only ordered coffee, and at the end the owner came to our table and said and I quote "You've been dealing with my son, and you cannot just order a cup of coffee. I'm losing money." Well we explained that there are other restaurants we could go, and he said "Well that's your choice." Basically he asked us not to come back unless we ordered more than coffee! How RUDE! So needless to say we will not be dining there anymore, and neither will we refer anyone there as we have in the past! I didn't realize you could get kicked out for going to a restaurant and ordering coffee. At least we were ordering something every time we came in! We also never bothered anyone, and always tipped very well. Think twice before you want to go to the Buttercup Grill and order coffee!
