Provided by YP.comBUYER BE WARE!! This company is for the birds. They're overly priced & their customer service leaves a lot to be desired. We met them @ the Alameda County Fair, Pleasanton, CA in late June, 2012. We wanted them to come do an estimate. The day they were supposed to come, they were a no call, no show. The person @ the Fair set up the date, then ran off with the slips that were to be turned in to the company. Whe I called the company to inquire, they knew nothing about us (so be careful with whom you talk with, that they are indeed employees of California Home Pro). I explained the situation & they had a gentleman help us out immediately, which was the only good thing about the company. The gentleman came out & talked our ears off. He was here for at least 2 hours, maybe 3, explaining about the company, the windows, saying that he'd recommend a 4 pane window for what we needed (we really wanted a 3 pane, however, he insisted a 4 pane). Then we got the financing & another person came out to measure what we needed. This person wasn't too enthused about coming out since we live about 1.5 hours from their office (it doesn't matter where we live since we first contacted them in Pleasanton & it meant money coming in to them & we were going to save energy with new windows, which is what we want). Then the windows came in. This person set up an appt. with us to have the windows & sliding door installed. When something came up & we had to cancel the appt. & reschedule it, this person would never call back to reschedule. I did talk to him once. He said that he was on his way to another city & would call me the next morning when he arrived in to the office to set up a new appt. He never did. I would up e-mailing the originating person that came out asking for his help. He did forward my e-mail to the Vice President in charge of Operations. This person, who said he should have called me back immediately, never did. When this person called me on a Monday, I told him that we wanted to cancel the order due to the Customer Service issue. He said the windows were ordered & in. I said we didn't care, that we wanted them canceled. This person said he'd see what he can do. I, then, sent an e-mail to the original gentleman canceling the order. Then is when the Executive Vice President e-mailed me, apologizing & honored our request to cancel our order. I had left several messages for the person who took the measurements for the windows. He conveniently never called me back. This, too, is no Customer Service as one is to expect from a big company. they say they're also have an A+ raiting with the Better Business Bureau (BBB). Don't believe it for a moment.
Be careful whom you do business with. Check their references. Don't give them a penny.
