DON"T rent from G & K Manageme...

DON"T rent from G & K Management. They don't care about their tenants. Manager is very unprofessional and can't make a move on her own without checking in with corporate office. Manager has a real attitude. Policies change from day to day without notice. They rent to very undesirable people. Manager discusses tenants with her friend that also lives there. If she thinks conversations don't leave her office she is wrong. Take my advice and don't move to Clayton Gardens, it would be a big mistake and make you very unhappy. I'm so happy I live in a community that is sane now!

The Dump

This place is horrible to live, there is no real manager here and the maintenance personnel is less to be desirable.

The community here was wonderful back awhile, the main property management company takes no real interest in this complex, so complaining doesn't solve matters. G and K property management is located all the way in Culver City, so they have zero idea how bad this place has come. There is no guest parking, and parking for the residents is very limited in itself, with 142 units, and maybe 60 parking spaces if that.

The senior community here is great overall, but there are some old betties that are so crabby at all times. It really helps think what no to become when you reach 65 or older. I am not trying to hate on elderly but, it is hard when you try to small and be nice..... and that doesn't help when they are just fishing for info.

As in Alice Matuso, the worst resident here.

Low End Apartment Complex

I have lived here for the last 6 years, and the on-site property manager is no help at all. Even after hours, and if there is an Emergency.... There is no help. You are pretty much on your own. This was originally a complex for senior and disabled bodies. Since the management here changes so rapidly, we are starting to get riff raft in this complex. Loud tenants and music blasting cars reeving their engines like Daytona is about to start on Clayton Road. The Manager is Monse Rodriquez, and she is very young, and the power has gone to her head that she is a property manager, and plays an evil god..... With no sympathy, and no help..... After hours.... she is gone.... hiding out in her apt. and doesn't care about a thing.
