Located in Concord, N.C., the Central Cabarrus High School has an enrollment of more than 1,800 students and offer classes from grades nine through 12. Its staff consists of over 150 teachers in various departments, such as technical education, mathematics, media and technology, English, science, fine arts, social studies, guidance, world languages and health departments. Its counseling program assists all students in acquiring the skills, knowledge and attitude. The school consists of a planetarium, alumni association, media center and clubs. Established in 1966, the Central Cabarrus High School also partners with The University of North Carolina at Charlotte in the professional development schools program.
