I was very happy with my visit to KV Nails. I walked in without an appointment on a Saturday afternoon, and the manager of the store was working alone. Appears her assistant nail tech had quit abruptly and went back to New York. She was deftly handling the 2 customers she already had, while still answering the phone occasionally. She told me to come back in 30 minutes and she would start my mani/pedi. Even though she had worked me in to her very busy schedule, she was efficient, very friendly, and did an excellent job with my mani/pedi in less than 2 hours. My pedi lasted for 4 weeks, believe it or not. I will be a regular customer for as long as she's open.

If you would have asked me while it was happening I'm sure I would have said it was very nice, but the next day is a different story. I went there to get a mani/pedi for my bridal shoot the following day. The woman who did my pedicure cut one of my toes open trying to remove cuticles & picked into my toe nails trying to get "ingrown" pieces out, painfully. Though the pain, in the moment, was just that...a moment long, the next day my big toe was sore to the touch, even walking didn't go without a twinge of pain. This was enough to make me want to call & complain, BUT wait... there's more! When I took a shower, after the shoot, my manicure began to peel off. I mean, like the children's nail polish you use-to get as a little girl. I was told that the top coat was a gel nail polish to make sure it lasts LONGER. My nails are now just soft & smooth. :/ I would only recommend this place to someone who just wants to feel good in the moment & not want lasting work.
