What is Concord Regional Crimeline Concord Regional Crimeline is a non-profit partnership between the law enforcement community, and the communities they serve. It provides citizens with a vehicle to anonymously supply the police with information about a crime or potential crime of which they have knowledge. The program is designed to involve the public in the fight against criminal activity. Cash rewards up to $1000 are offered to people who call the program and their information leads to an arrest, the recovery of stolen property, or the seizure of illegal drugs. The media is a very important component of Crime Stoppers. An unsolved crime may be publicized on radio or in the newspaper. The local media, such as the Concord Monitor, brings the program to the attention of the public. A volunteer Board of Directors actively administers and is responsible for the program. Concord Regional Crimeline is a non-profit organization and is responsible for raising funds and the disbursement of rewards. The Board of Directors work in close cooperation with participating police agencies in the greater Concord service area.
