The Wildlife Division is a part of the N.H. Fish and Game Department, which provides a variety of information related to fishing, hunting and wildlife in New Hampshire. The department offers the Anadromous Fish Restoration Program, which includes restoration in the Merrimack River and the Connecticut River. It operates fish hatcheries and visitor and education centers. The N.H. Fish and Game Department also maintains wildlife management units. It issues hunting and fishing licensees. The department s law enforcement division is responsible for the enforcement of laws, rules and regulations related to fish, wildlife and marine resources. The N.H. Fish and Game Department organizes workshops and field trips, as well as provides educational resources and volunteer opportunities.
