Provided by YP.comIn 2006, my precious feline furchild was very ill; he was 17 y/o. It's devastating to lose a loving family member. I don't live anywhere close to Fond Memories Pet Cemetery & Crematorium, but knew I wanted my baby cremated. To ease the stress when it was his time to cross the Rainbow Bridge, I began looking for crematoriums & found Fond Memories Pet Cemetery & Crematorium. I drove many miles to Conroe and met the most caring, kind, loving people, Laura, Sylvia and Sam (I believe that was his name; he is so kind), who went out of their way to help me. My first trip was simply to find an urn for my baby. No one hovered over me, they made me feel comfortable; were there when I had a question and, gave me plenty of Kleenexes. When the 'time' came for 'Lil Boy, I had to have a friend drive me and my euthanized furchild to Fond Memories Pet Cemetery & Crematorium in Conroe. I called ahead to let them know my baby had passed and I was on my way with him. Naturally, I cried the whole way. Upon arrival, they were all there to comfort me, Kleenex in hand. These 3 wonderful, kind, understanding, lovely individuals were there for me during my feline furbabie's entire ordeal. They went above & beyond what I had arranged, at no charge. Sam (?) took a molding of 'Lil Boy's paw print, which I never thought of. I had 'Lil Boy's marble urn etched beautifully in gold, and ordered a 12x12x1/2 beautiful, black marble stone cut and somehow they were able to have 'Lil Boy's 'shadow' (in silver) placed on the black marble stone along with a poem I had written etched in script onto the stone. It's the most beautiful work of art etched in silver on black marble stone I've ever seen. I can't recall the stone artists name, but she does exquisite work. It's April 2015 now and I have 5 feline furchildren (strictly indoors; as was 'Lil Boy'), all rescued off the streets. The oldest, Sassie, was 8 y/o April 21, 2015...she's a beautiful Tuxedo; I have three, 2-y/o rescued siblings and the most recent, now 6 months old, Cali...a 'rare' diluted' Calico who the vet said is 'blue & orange'. All I want is for my feline furchildren to live long, happy, healthy lives. But when old age takes them from me, I will always go back to the wonderful people at Fond Memories Pet Cemetery & Crematorium. I don't know if the three wonderful, kind, caring individuals are still there, but for some reason I believe they are ♥
