Provided by YP.comMy daughter went to Grace for 2 years. I've got nothing but good things to say about the school and church. The staff was always friendly and a few of them even baby sit for me personally now. The meals were kid friendly and yummy. The things my daughter learned went above and beyond normal daycare. Grace presents themselves as a school more than a daycare and that is very attractive. I never worried about the care she was receiving as I knew in my heart all the teachers loved my daughter and all the other children there as if they were their own.
Ms. Joleen is fun, witty, and knows exactly how to run that school and staff. Not only that, she LOVES all the children. The school offers, dance, tumbling, library hour, daily chapel and many more extras that my daughter took advantage of.
I recommend this school to all my neighbors and friends with NO hesitation. They really are the best in the area.

Provided by YP.comI wouldn't trade my children's time at Grace Lutheran School for anything! My kids couldn't get out of the car fast enough each morning, were always wanting to stay past pick up time and often mentioned their teachers by name when at home. They even requested their teachers to be present for their birthday parties.
The staff at Grace is always pleasant, professional, and always concerned with my children's health and happiness. From Ms. Billie in the baby room, to Ms. Bobbie and Ms. Brittany in the 3year old room and Ms. Jenna's stellar Transitionsl Kindergarten program. (I have heard Montgomery ISD teachers can pick TK students out based on their above average academic preparation, social skills and classroom manners)
Several of the staff members have their CDA's or are certified teachers and all teachers have to meet the licensing standards of 20 in service hours per year (I know this because I researched it once when enrolling my children and onece during their enrollment)
The office staff was always eager to great the children when they arrived and answer any questions I had.
What a gem and resource Grace has in the Director of the school? Ms. Howard-Browne always had the best interest of my children in mind when making decisions concerning, their care, move ups to different classes and the academic needs of each individual child. She also instructs the children of the school during daily chapel time each morning. My kids would sings "This Little Light Of Mine" on the way home from school (even my two year old)
The school was (at the time of my children's enrollment last year) using the ABeka curriculum and Handwriting Without Tears. And both of my kids were totally prepared to entered the public school arena.
I felt compelled to write this review on behalf of Grace after reading the above review which obviously is from a disgruntled parent or someone who wouldn't be pleased at any school. In my 6 years association with Grace and Joleen Howard Browne there was not one single incident that I questioned or didn't feel totally at peace with.
As for the Christian environment... My kids RECITE bible verses. My kids sing praise songs, My kids KNOW Jesus died on the cross. My kids KNOW Christmas is a celebration of Jesus' birth!! They learned all that and so much more at Grace and for that our family is grateful and blessed.
Please don't hesitate to check out this wonderful shool based on one negative review! Pop in and see for yourself.

Provided by YP.comThis is a letter sent to this school from our family after recent repeated problems were ignored and then attempted to be silenced. Please know that this program is three times more expensive than the best truly Christian based private school in the area, and that children are not in the Christian or academic environment presented.
To Whom It May Concern,
This is your notice, that all pertinent information regarding the "care" of my children while in your establishment will be promptly reported in all online resources as of this day. Interestingly you had no reviews of your ..."program"... in the nearly dozen websites I have found thus far. Your first one will hopefully forever be one to remember.
It is a sincere shame that Joleen Howard-Browne is the figurehead and director of this establishment. It speaks poorly when she warns new parents of her disorganization, as well as has numerous teachers and aids tell parents to avoid her at all cost, as she is chronically misinformed and/or lost in her attempts to do her job. As it is obvious to any vigilant parent that your program suffers insufficient teachers, hopefully future potential candidates will read my reviews of your program, and in turn think twice about entering your doors.
There were numerous meetings due to chronic problems, false information, completely uninformed management. Of the three children we enrolled and started in June, our most outgoing and independent three year old child had to be removed after only two weeks because he stated his teacher hit him and was too terrified to even enter the building. As this was reported to be typical for his age we allowed the twins to remain in their programs. As we continued to scrutinize the care of our children we became increasingly concerned that no one managed the people entering or leaving the unsecured building. A quarter of the days during the time we came to this program the computerized program for checking in and out, which is invisible from the office which no human is consistently in, was not working. Additionally, no one could consistently report whether our children ate, slept, or were happy and making friends during the day. This is only a handful of the long list of grievances we have about this program. Now the direct lies from this director started. After seven weeks of being told one of our childrens teachers was certified, it finally came out that she is in fact only aid. Every time we would come in requesting information she would verbally run in circles nervously refusing to commit to one. Of the half dozen requests for a copy of a preschool curriculm for the fall, none was ever able to be produced.
Finally when a situation of questionable sexual activity, during the first day of vacation bible school, at this Christian school occurred, her answer was to literally put her hand in the face of an again concerned parent, tell us that she reported the "supposed" incedent to the state to cover themselves legally, then later that day remove the four year old children from the program, and building.
Abruptly pulling my children out of your establishment has only further convinced us that this program has little, if any, true Christian or other morally objective motivation towards chidlren at all. I will make it my mission to prevent other innocent families and children from wasting their precious finances, and impressionable minds and hearts in a program that is so poorly managed that children are ultimately being hurt.
This situation will not go unnoticed, and hopefully not accounted for.
