Provided by YP.comI am a 69 year old firearm novice. My lack of experience has prevented me from buying a firearm for many years. I just didn't know enough to understand whether I was being offered something I would really want, or just something they wanted to sell me. Terry H. at Shooters Station solved that problem for me. He spent considerable time showing me their inventory of pistols. Not once did he talk down to me because of my lack of experience. He skipped over models that would probably not work well for me, and he told me why he was doing so. For example, my hands are just too big for a lot of those models. I was not looking to spend a lot of money, but he showed me one model that was a very comfortable fit. He showed me how to disassemble and reassemble it, and then had me do the same, slow as I was. He showed me some other things that I might need, like ear protection and a cleaning kit. Then he showed me the pistol range, and gave me some instruction there. The gun fired flawlessly, and I put a whole box of ammo through it. All in all, it was a pleasant experience. I was never rushed, or pressured, or made to feel inadequate in any way. Thanks to Shooters Station for making my first firearm purchase a positive experience.

Provided by YP.comShooters Station has changed over the last few years. In my opinion it has gotten much much better. The staff are friendly and knowledgeable. (No gun snobs or weekend commandos.) The facilities are well designed and kept clean and in good condition. The prices are very reasonable. I live within 20 minutes of at least three ranges, and this one is my favorite indoor range by a long shot.

Provided by YP.comI've been to Shooters Station to use their range a couple times, had a FFL transfer and used them, and recently had one of their gunsmiths help me with a very stubborn roll pin on my AR 15 that refused to come out. All of my experiences have been great, and the gunsmith who helped me was a super nice guy. Really like this place.

Provided by YPmobileJust bought a marlin 60 model .22 at another location. I took it to this range for the very first time to shoot. I had problems from rounds I had purchased at a gun show, they jammed with every shot. The staff at The Gun Emporium did everything they could to help fix the issue with my gun, when they didn't have to. I had not purchased my gun there nor the ammo!!! This is a really nice place to shoot, I will be back. Oh, and don't think the range officer is yelling at you, he just talks really really loud. Super nice good old boy.

Provided by YP.comShooter's Station in my opinion is the nicest indoor pistol range in the Houston area. I have been going there for years and have always been treated super. The indoor range is a must during the hot Summer months, and all of the staff are friendly and knowledgable. I have read some negative reviews of this place in the past, but I have never encountered this. Go and see for yourself.
