Terrible!

My former neighbor is currently in this place. We visit her quite often and we can tell you, this place is terrible! She went 3 weeks without a bath or being changed out of her dirty clothes! They bathe the lady she shares a room with when everyone else is in there visiting. By law, they have to tell anyone in the room (other than another patient) to leave to protect the privacy of the people being bathed. There is also a thief! My neighbor went in with her wedding ring. Suddenly, it went missing. So a friend have her a wedding band to wear (her husband id deceased so the ring means a lot to her) that ring went missing to. A few dad ago, she went to sleep with a watch on. She woke up and it was gone

Then they changed her rooms. They didn't bother to bring ANY of her belongings to her new room, so my sister and I did it for her. I grabbed her purse and put it next to her bed in her new room. The next day we went and her purse was gone. We went looking and found it in her old room, along with her wallet that's been missing for months!

The care sucks as well! I was in there visiting a few days ago and there was a lady in the lobby. She was crying to go back to her room because she didn't feel well. I went and told one of the nurses and they said "okay, we will take her back"

I came out from visiting 2 HOURS LATER and the poor lady was still sitting there crying! I told them again that she wanted to go to her room and stayed and waited with her until they finally brought her back.

These people are here for a paycheck (whether it be from the nursing home, or by stealing the patients belongings) they do not care at all for these sweet people!

I would NEVER put anyone here, find somewhere better please! Do your research before you just stick a loved one in one of these places! If I was able to, I'd bring my neighbor somewhere much nicer, but I don't have that power :(

My mother was here. They took ...

My mother was here. They took great care of her but when she passed away, her checkbook and driver's license disappeared. Shortly after that we started receiving notices that she had bounced checks which she could not have written. So the care was good but they have a thief in the house.

killers

This facility received a 74 year old man into it 6 weeks ago by the state of Texas (caseworker Danielle Sells) her first dimenisia patient he mowed his yard and shaved 3 times a week and had no trouble walking on his own. upon calling the facility after he was placed there, he was allowed no visitors what so ever. Word got to us that he was in the hospital and had been for 4 days we went and by God's grace were able to see him he could not walk and was in diapers, had not shaved and his eyes were full of matted matter. The caseworker came to the hospital room on the day we found him and told us to leave. I believe the state of texas and the nursing home are killing this man. There was $26,000. taken out of his bank account as soon as she started trying to put him in a nursing home.
