Overall a small Home Health business, Major medical is average in cost and coverage, more out of pocket each visit especially if you see specialists. BUT in addition they also have Aflac offered to full time employee's. I have always bought most coverages with the fear that if I didn't get it something will happen and the one thing I didn't purchase would be the one thing I need. So I bought it all short term disability, life insurance, hospital indemnity, accident and cancer insurance through Aflac & First Steps. At the end of my first year I was run over by a car, completely by accident, but required multiple surgeries and joint replacement. I was out for 3 1/2 months, staff was completely understanding with no pressure and the Aflac covered me until I returned to work. I cannot thank them enough for their understanding and even help covering my insurance premiums while I was on bedrest. I have worked for companies that are angry over simply being sick, let alone something serious without letting you go and wanting you to re-appy and come back when your better, loosing all of your benefits. So HERE IS A BIG THANK YOU to First Steps Staff, Human Resources and owner, THANK YOU!!!!!!! Without you and Aflac this single mom would have been evicted!!

Upon return they listen to what I wanted in a case and even filled me in for PRN hours until my case started knowing as a single mom I needed hours. Thank you so much again! Special Thank you to Candance, Jennifer and Mr. Boyd
