Provided by YP.comWe have used Sherwood in Conway for years for our whole family. The last year, we have received declining customer service. Today was the last straw. The front desk receptionist was very rude and unprofessional. They won't be getting business from me or my family any longer. 10 minutes down the road at another urgent care clinic, I was treated with professionalism and a smile.

Provided by YP.comI recently took my sister to the Sherwood urgent care as she was complaining about abdominal pain. We waited for 3hours and when we finally got to see the doctor, her face expression wasn't showing any kind of compassion, it seems like she was mad to see both of us in the room waiting, she barely greeted us with real mean face.when the nurse told her that I was there to translate for my sister( she is visiting the country) she threw me a slight apology..she took about 5mins to check my sis and decided to run some tests, we had to wait another hour and half to get the results.they confined us in that room with the door close we were freezing to death. They finally brought the results and prescribe just antibiotic but no pain medication...

Provided by YPmobileI recently visited the Sherwood Urgent Care in Conway, AR. I waited a while (which was expected) and then when the nurse came and got me she was a little rude. (Probably having a bad day) the doctor came back, that was fine, and then I went to check out. This woman was the most rude person I have encountered in a while!!! (I work in retail, I encounter rude people all the time) My fee was $101...everything should've been covered and I had already paid a $30 co-pay. Only being 18 years old, I called my mother and told her what the bill was and my mother wanted to know why. So I handed the phone back to the woman at check out and she was rude to my mother as well. I got back on the phone with my mom and she said she would bring the money soon. I hung up the phone and when the woman at check out (Lorie) went to hand me my Drivers Liscense and my Insurance Card she said "next time make sure you have the money to pay, there are signs everywhere) yes, there were signs but I have never paid more than a 30$ co-pay with my insurance company. However, when she said it, she had a huge attitude and an awful look on her face. She very rudely stuck my Liscense and my Insurance card out there too. My point in this complaint is, the woman at check out, Lorie, is the reason I will never return to a Sherwood Urgent Care.

Provided by YPmobileThe staff could not have been more spectacular. The wait was to be expected, but I was in and out in an hour. Receptionists, nurses, and doctors were all in a great mood and treated me with respect and appropriate haste. They listened to my needs and gave me great treatment. Even being as sick as I was, I walked out of there in a good mood.

Provided by YPmobileI have been going to this urgent care for over a year. This past week was the first time I've ever had to wait very long. Them billing like a PCP actually does me a favor, saves me $15!!!

Provided by YP.comHORRIBLE PLACE. Extremely rude staff. Made my 17 year old cry (she never cries), as she was extremely sick and finally refused her service when she only had enough money to pay the $50 copay (as stated on our INSURANCE card) with the words to her and her father "I have no problem not helping you". I'm sorry I have to rate it one star. Too bad there isn't a negative star or even a black hole.
A little girl who was throwing up that had been there longer than my daughter, FINALLY got called to the window and immediately turned away because she had medicaid. They didn't apologize or anything, just almost an hour later told them 'we have issues with medicaid, so we don't take that', and closed the glass window.
I have insurance through my company, a very reputable insurance, I might add, with a very clear URGENT CARE co-pay of $50 on the front of my insurance card. Sherwood UC bills you as a private PCP EVEN THOUGH the sign outside says URGENT CARE.
WHAT THAT MEANS TO YOU:
Sherwood UC SAYS they only charge you a $20 copay when you go in. If you have, let's say, a $1500 copay, and you have a lot of tests or x-rays, you could be responsible for ALL of that according to your insurance and how the PCP copay works with your deductible. With the urgent care co pay of $50, for example, it is $30 more up front, but everything that they do is covered at 100% It is kind of a sneaky way to get more money from you. You WANT them to charge the $50.... For a flu test, it will cost you your $20 copay and an upfront flu test charge of $100 at Sherwood. VERY deceiving, and a HORRIBLY rude staff to top it off. Someone should shut them down. PATIENT BEWARE.

Provided by YPmobileMy girlfriend and I went there suspecting a possible concussion. We waited in the lobby for about 40 minutes. We were then pulled back to the waiting room where we waited another 30 minutes. We finally got into a room and waited on a nurse/doctor/anyone for another 20 minutes. She then saw her for maybe 10 minutes. She basically did everything I know to do (as an occupational therapy student), scheduled us a CT and told us to go to the ER if it got worse...obviously. The nurse that helped us initially was very nice and helped us as best she could. All that wait for her to say "possibly a concussion" was not worth it.

Provided by YP.comThis clinic has rude staff. You may wait to be seen from 1 to 4 hours with no apologizes. Dr. Shah and his staff have put me thru unnecessary physical and mental distress by refusing to send my prescription request to my drug company in a timely matter. Im not suppose to miss any of my meds. and because of this clinic I have gone for a month two times without my meds.Dr Shah has refused to send me to a specialist, knowing Im in pain and he diagnosed me! He told me I needed an MRI, having no insurance I was able to get assistance at UAMS to have the test. My assistance runs out in January2014 and he still has not taking care of this!! This clinic should be shut down!!!!!!

Provided by YP.comThis clinic is rude to specialists requesting test results, they misdiagnose and will not refer you to a specialist when needed. Dr. Shah should have his license revoked as he knows nothing about medicine. The RNP could not even write a Medicaid prescription for ibuprofen. If you care about your health stay far away from this clinic with wanna-be doctors.

Provided by YP.comWe took our sick daugter there yesterday and was told up front that there was a one hour wait. FOUR HOURS LATER we finally saw a doctor. Not one single person apologized for wasting our time. If I wanted to mindlessly sit and wait for hours on end, I'd go to the ER where they are more equipped to handle situations that may require a higher level of care. I will never go back to this place.
