Conway Middle School serves students in grades six through eight. It offers academic programs in language arts, mathematics, science, social studies and technology education. The school additionally conducts music and health and physical education classes. Conway Middle School also offers an accelerated reader program that encourages students to read more books. It has an athletics department that offers a variety of sports activities, such as baseball, basketball, football, golf, hockey, tennis, and track and field. The school also offers an after-school program, Battle of the Books, which encourages students to read books and come together to demonstrate their abilities and test their knowledge of the books they have read. In addition, Conway Middle School has a media center that stocks various fiction and nonfiction books, encyclopedias, magazines, newspapers and reference materials. It is located in Conway, N.C., and is a part of Northampton County Schools.
