Edwards Middle School, established in 1976, is located in Conyers, Ga. The school has an annual enrollment of more than 850 students in grades six through eight. It provides membership for various clubs and organizations, such as the National Junior Honor Society, student council, and band, chorus and drama clubs. The school offers various sporting activities, including basketball, cheerleading, track and field, football, softball and wrestling. Its core curriculum includes special education, speech, math, science, social studies, art, technology, health and physical education. Edwards Middle School is operated by Rockdale County Public Schools, which also operates several other elementary, middle and high schools.
