Founded in 1947, Golden State Foods is one of the largest full-line service providers, suppliers and distributors to McDonald's in the United States. The company, also known as GSF, has a staff of more than 3,000 employees and serves approximately 20,000 restaurants throughout the world. Golden State Foods s core businesses include processing and distribution of liquid products, meat and bakery items. Its liquid products division manufactures and packages a variety of condiments, syrups, toppings, sauces and dressings. The company s meat division provides beef patties and hamburgers and has been recognized with numerous industry and customer awards for its efforts, including McDonald's Partners in Innovation and Cost-Reduction Award. Its memberships include the International Foodservice Manufacturers Association, Institute of Food Technology, Association of Dressings and Sauces and University of Georgia Center for Food Safety. The company also runs the GSF Foundation for kids, a nonprofit organization that provides support to children and families in need. They care-less about truck drivers. Security upon entering was nice however the staff was rude. I waited 5 hrs across the street passed my appointment time to be given a door to load. They have 1 restroom and was told by an employee to use a port a john. Little space to maneuver.
