About four years ago, I bought concrete blocks and concrete to pour the footing for a wall to be built outside the basement of my home. Builders Supply delivered the blocks and sand, but when the truck came to pour the footing, the driver simply backed the concrete truck near the prepared form, and according to the man I had hired to lay the block, the driver just let the concrete pour much too fast. The hired worker tried to level it out as quick as possible, but could not keep up. He managed to level the footing well enough to build one side of the wall, but could not level the second wall. I still have large "gobs" of concrete on the ground leading from my basement. I believe part of the problem was that the company had it poured late Friday afternoon, and the driver just did not feel like doing it. He probably had delivered many trucks of concrete.

I went to Builders Supply the following week, and they basically did nothing, saying it was my responsibility, or the worker I had to direct the pouring. I should have hired an attorney to get Builders Supply to clean up the mess and pour a proper footing for the other side of the wall. Their service was pathetic. The ground is pitiful. I dare Builders Supply to put this rating on their bulletin board for people to see.
