I called charles stone heating fir an estimate on my heater that had stopped heating to full heat during the snowstorm

She scheduled an estimate. Then the guy came out and opened my unit and checked a few wires with his meter, telling me he thinks it's the "heating strip" the entire time he's checking it. Saying the freon is good, he checked and said all the "fuse lines" were good. Then said, okay, it had to be this motor, amd it'll be $400 to fix it today. I then said ok, please wrote that up and I'll get back with you. He then went on the offensive, asking me What I thought i was going to do, cause we are in for some bad weather tomorrow"

I told him, I couldn't afford that kind of repair today, he then visibly gi5t angry, and took his meter and ripped out several of those "fuse links" he had just told me were "all good so it had it be the motor"

And said that will be $65 after 5 minutes. Which would have been fine of he had given me what I asked for when I called for an estimate and they said it would be $65. Buy he then writes a bunch of stuff on the paper and says he can't give me an estimate, because he can't tell what it will cost till he gets into it. (After telling me 2 minutes previously he could fix it today for $400)

So he left, anfry, I felt threatened, and he took my $65, which at tgat time, I felt was paying to get him to leave. Several wires tgat were connected when he came are not connected now. The fan that was running before he came, now is not.
