its realy excellent i got chance to see owner so helpfull

My husband and myself had the unfortunate experience of "staying" at this motel. We checked in one evening after an exhausting day of driving. All we wanted was a good meal and a quiet night of sleep as we had another long day the following day. We checked in with the clerk who seemed to wish he was anywhere but on the job. After paying for the room we left to go eat. We returned about 2 hours later to find a very loud and drunken party going on in the room next to us. I went to talk to the clerk and he was not only NOT helpful but he was rude and hateful. When I complained to the clerk about the party and the noise his answer was "they spent more money here than you did". I couldn't believe it. The clerk then began mocking me and repeating what I was saying as if he were a small child! When I demanded my money back the clerk then stated the best he would do was to move our room. I couldn't believe he would think I would want to stay there or would feel safe staying there. We left. I talked to the owner and his response was he would not refund our money because we didn't complain the first two hours of our stay. WE WERE NOT THERE THE FIRST TWO HOURS......WE LEFT TO GO EAT!! I contacted the franchise and got no where with them also. SO.....Do not stay at a Knights Inn in any town especially Cookeville unless there are no other rooms available and all the bridge under passes are also taken!
