Provided by YP.comI am from Cookeville, but live in Mempis. Lately, when we've been home and not staying with family, we always stay at Alpine.
The price is unbeatable. The suites are affordable and excellent (space and comfort) for our family of 5. The free breakfast is another time convenience and money saving extra. And we greatly enjoy the pool, basketball goal, shuffle board, etc. -- almost like a little vacation retreat. The staff has always been pleasant, friendly, easy to work with. We see Alpine as 'our' motel in Cookeville!

Provided by YP.comWe found your hotel using a coupon book picked up at a rest stop and decided to give you a try. We could not have been more pleased. The staff was pleasent and helpful, the room VERY clean and nicely decorated and the bed comfortable. The room opened up to a small private patio with table and chairs and a nice view of the hills in the distance. I loved the fact that once you unloaded your vehicle you did not have to go back outside if you did not choose to just simply use the interior hallways to move about including returning to the front desk and "breakfast room". The amount for the room verses value received was outstanding. It is the kind of place that will make us go out of our way to return to. In fact we will return and stay longer next time. Thank you for your hospitality. Signed, Darryl and Kay Fowler, Panama City, Florida.

Provided by YP.comSeveral years ago my husband and I lucked into the Alpine Lodge & Suites quite by accident. We had a delightful stay. Last month on another trip we planned our overnight stop in Cookeville so we could stay once again at this place. We were again delighted with our stay. The room was clean and the price was reasonable. The motel is not new, but kept in excellent condition. The woman who owns the motel is extremely nice and helpful. There was a more than adequate continental breakfast in the morning. The location is wonderful...right on the hillside with a very nice view. The signs for this motel are hard to find, but it is well worth the effort to find it. We highly recommend it and will plan a stop there every chance we can.

Provided by YP.comWe live in Connecticut and visit Cookeville, TN about twice a year. Without exception, we spend our stay at the Alpine Lodge while in the area.. While not luxurious as some visitors might require while on vacation, the Alpine gives you a lot for a little money. We find the beds very comfortable and have not yet had a complaint about cleanliness. Each room has amenities such as a microfridge and free internet ( via cable which is provided by the Lodge). There are suites with kitchenettes and apartments available as well, although we have never stayed in those.
The staff is very courteous, friendly and accommodating. The free continental breakfast is about the best we have experienced especially since the addition of belgian waffles! The batter is prepared, premeasured and waiting for you in the morning. There is fresh fruit, juice, coffee, cereal, toast, instant oatmeal and donuts. This alone saves us about $20 a day in breakfast for two! there is also a nice outdoor pool.
The view of the mountains from "building one" is breathtaking and the location of the hotel convenient. We would recommend this hotel to anyone who wants casual yet comfortable.
