I took my sick dog in to see Dr. Holst and she was great with my dog. Took her time, examined her. Told me there were numerous conditions that could cause her problems. Told her up front I have a fixed income and she was real honest and showed me prices for all kinds of tests. She talked me through the importance of each test. Based on her advise we did a $15 heartworm test first, and it was positive. There were alot of tests I could've done, but couldn't afford. Now we're treating her for heartworms and with Dr. Holsts help, she'll get better.

I'm not sure who the previous reviewers saw, but I have been very pleased with the "new clinic" in town. They are current, caring and always offer options for treatments my pets have needed. I am greatful that they provide me an estimate before doing any tests. We discuss what would be best cuz I can't always do everything, but at least I have options. The staff and both doctors are very approachable and have talked with me in detail about my pets. I'm not sure why people don't talk to the owner of a business if they aren't happy with the service they were provided? Seems like you'd do that instead of blast them anonymously on the internet. I wouldn't go anywhere else and am happy I have options in this small town. Keep up the good work AWC!!

Prepare to open your wallet # 2.This vet is a real ripper offer. They care more for the money that they are going to screw you out of than your pet. A similar problem happened with our cat like described in the first review Dex knows Prepare to open your wallet. $ 1100.00 later after two operations our cat was getting worse instead of better. She got so bad from this vets procedures that we had to put her down because she was suffering.So beware of this money hungry vet in the north end of Coolidge.Go to to Dr. Woods down on the south side of Coolidge, she is a great pet loving doctor, unlike Mrs. Money hungry at Animal Wellness Clinic.

I took my cat in recently as she was unwell. I explained to the vet in detail her symptoms hoping that as a vet she would give me some idea of what may be wrong and diagnose her. Apparently that is not how it works at this clinic. While the vet was still examining my cat the asst worked up a list of all the tests she would need. This seemed to include all the tests there are adding up to hundreds od dollars! I asked why didn't she look at my animals symptoms and choose tests accordingly as surely they teach that at vet school and she had no reply. I was told I could just walk out. So thanks for all the really terrible service I will be sure to tell all my friends.
