Provided by YP.comThis used to be a great place to take your pet. However they have recently become just like all the rest. They only want to rip you off and treat you like garbage. After spending $400 plus on my cat's fungal infection, they charged me a 500% mark up on a tiny tube of ointment that only lasted a few days. I wanted to get more from Chewy, but the vet refused to respond to their fax. Had to switch to an OTC antifungal spray, which worked better anyway.
If you live in Florence, San Tan Valley, or beyond, and think the drive to Coolidge is worth it, think again. You can get ripped off and treated like crap at a vet closer to home and save yourself some time and gas.

My dog has had Valley Fever for the past 1.5 years, with a steady stream of meds every day. The past 9 months, her blood work has come back the same on her titer tests, and the meds just kept on being prescribed. I changed vets, and am so very glad I did! Her test came back the same again, and after seeing Dr. Pete for a consultation and exam, we're *not* doing more meds for another 3 months. He wants to see if this is the plateau and if she stays as healthy as she is now.
Thanks to the excellent staff at the clinic, from the front desk to the check-out desk! Y'all are truly what I've been looking for in a veterinary office!!!

I am very grateful to Audie for her kindness and gentle care for my old Dob. She came to the house to help without me even asking. I could not have ever asked for more then Audie gave, and I'm so grateful to her!

I am a lucky snow bird and I have two very special girls that are sweethearts dogs and I have had situations that they needed some professional attention too and the clinic goes out of their way to help me out. The girls are happy and so am I!!! Thank you all and especially Dr.Woods'.

Provided by YPmobileDr Wood has always been a excellent veterinary to this community. She is very knowledgeable and very caring. We have been taking our family pets here for over 20 years. We have never had any problems with her staff. It is the new veterinarians that she hires that do not have what it takes to be in this community. I have several people tell me that would rather drive to Gilbert then go back there. It is very sad. I have experienced that lack of caring from the new veterinarians and was every disappointed after the visit. A place where you didn't just feel like number all of a sudden became very impersonable. I wish Dr. Audi Wood would practice more. Its a shame to hear people talk bad about this place and say they will never go back. Disappointed.

Provided by YPmobileI don't even know where to start with this vet hospital. I take my dog in when he's 6 weeks old get his shots and bring up spots of hair on his body. (Vet and other people say it's nothing) 3 weeks later I take him in for his second sets his hair loss is now around his eyes really noticeable...we mention it AGAIN they tell us that we have nothing to worry and that she sees it.(this is certified vet there giving my dog an exam!!!!) 3 weeks LATER my dog has demodex MANGE!!! He has huge patches of hair that is missing. I has my dog taken in to get an additional exam because I complained.gnat I didn't feel like the vet was professional and that I wanted a second look. So the owner of the company DR WOOD looks at him gives him an exam and scraped his skin to see if he had it and sure enough u could see the parasites under the scope! Walked out not being charged for anything and it clearly says on their notes on the wall you must pay for the procedures u get done the same day.. WELL I go in today to do his first treat ment to get my dog better they are tryin to charge me for a dip he never had I was being charged for the scraping and I would of had to pay for the dip I was doing today. Of course I'm going to Deny paying for this because I have brought this to their attention multiple times before and they still wouldn't wave the fees. The stuck up veterinarian lady who took my dog back brings him to me and says if we are going to have issues with you you can take your business else where. Sorry that this clinic obviously is very unorganized and they do not know how to keep their facts straight. I will never go back again and I Will NEVER recommend this place !!! Very unprofessional!!!

Very friendly, understands emergency's and worried owners. My cat was real sick and we did not know why. She could not find anything wrong. She stayed over night and they bought her baby food to eat because she has a funny tummy when it comes to eating. She gave her a strong shot and in 24 hours she was walking again. Wobbly but walking. 48 hours she was back to normal. I was ready to give up and let her go because she was lifeless. She went all out to try anything and one thing worked. It is still a mystery today but I still have my cat too. I am so greatful for all they do to help our pets, family! I recommended them to my neighbor and they too agree the staff, vets, are awesome. They work with you on charges and don't over charge for things un needed.

I am very peculiar and was beyond satisfied. My American Bulldog went in on an emergency basis, had c-section surgery and was returned perfect! 2 days later she had a an issue arise ( on a Saturday), and the Vet came && PICKED my dog up from my house, took her back and did surgery again after hours! Very satisfied. I can agree the receptionist can be rough around the edges but as long as the one doing the hands on with my pet is great, thats all that matters. Both the techs and Vets are well recommended by me!Edit - Delete

I took my ill dog there following a recommendation from a friend. They did not disappoint me. My dog required surgery, which led to them finding a much more serious problem. With her kidneys failing, we really had only one option. Dr. Wood was compassionate and caring and treated Bear as if it were her own dog. She kept me apprised of all developments, and I knew she did everything she possibly could. Their fees are reasonable as well. I drove many miles and will continue to go to them. They personify the small town, caring vet that is missing in most areas. The staff was wonderful too!

I have taken my various pets over the last 10 years to every vet in the tri-valley area; and I have found Dr. Wood to be the absolute BEST!! Her staff is great, very professional and helpful.I gladly drive the extra 30 miles from Casa Grande to take my precious pets to Dr. Audie.Coming from the 'big city' of Phoenix - I found the other two vet offices in Casa Grande either just plain overpriced, inept or both - sorry Anonymous when I read your review I just had to add my opinion.

As a veterinary professional that has resided in the area for the last 20 years, I occasionally review posts on veterinary practices. I have been excited to watch several new and current practices struggle to stay up to date to take care of their clients and patients. Cheers to those practices. For the last 10 years I have also watched Dr. Audie Wood and her practice receive un-do acclamation. For the last 10 years I have not only heard stories from clients but have witnessed for myself her detrimental and often lethal mistakes. The Board of Veterinary Medical Examiners has taken notice; her license has been scrutinized for years. Her name continues to appear in the Board notes; meeting after meeting, year after year. Unfortunately she continues to practice. I suspect this is secondary to large client payouts, getting word of “unannounced” inspections, and firing disgruntled staff. Her attempted cover-up extends to small service fees and the ability to see clients “right away”. Cheap

We have lived in Queen Creek for 5 years with 6 furry family members. We have tried several vets looking to find one that does not sell you a fake bill of goods just to make a buck. It has been decades since I have been in a place where you feel the old fashion value of neighborly kindness with sincere concern for you and your pet. I resently became unemployed and had to take our dog in to be neutered. Our sweet pup had serious complications causing the surgery to much longer than planned. Most vets would have doubled the bill but Dr Wood was so sweet knowing we were only on one income, she kept the bill as low as possibal. God Bless the hospital and all that work there. I can't say enough..infact I tell everybody that has pets to make the drive they won't be disapointed!! Thanks Deb and John W , Bandit, Furgie, Squeek, Snooky and the cats.
