Rogue Company

This company offers to adjust your so-called "debt" owed to other companies. When asked to substantiate their claim, they mail a paragraph template letter simply stating what they claim is owed but without any accounting of the details. This is especially concerning and disturbing to customers such as us who even overpaid Sprint Wireless just so that we could get out of a messy and flawed accounting of our bill and repeated harassment by Sprint representatives stating "something bad will happen if we leave Sprint! It's a dumb move!" We thought we were finally done with Sprint, but then comes this cohort, Diversified Adjustments. Diversified went so far as to spam our inbox with emails expressing language to the effect of "You know we can work things out if you just pay part of what you owe, which will take care of everything." Diversified's apparently gleeful, wheeling and dealing solicitation of an offer for help fails to address the core issue of why Diversified fails to substantiate fraudulent charges owed and rather resorts to haranguing phone calls.

Upon further questioning Diversified on exactly what services they provide, numerous representatives have responded, "That's personal," "We can't tell," "We offer confidential services in many areas," etc. When asked for their address to lodge a complaint, they have responded, "Go look it up yourself." The shady nature of the business is revealed in numerous representatives simply hanging up when prompted for answers to these questions. Hanging up on members of the public who don't want such rogue solicitations and simply inquire on the nature of Diversified's business is hardly a reason to simply hang up and then continue with harassing calls to adjust fraudulent charges that they fail to substantiate. Diversified Adjustment incessantly continues making harassing, unwanted phone calls to personal as well as workplace numbers soliciting services for personal financial adjustments despite notifications to cease further contact. They are required to stop calling upon being told to do so, however Diversified representatives apparently fail to recognize this and continue bombarding workplace numbers with absolutely no reflection on the consequent liability and repercussions from the employees and workplaces they are calling. Please beware of the Company and their crude practices.

I completely understand that if you cannot pay a bill on time you should not be able to complain about a company "immaturely" bc it was irresponsible of someone not to pay a bill. I'm responsible for my own mistakes, I get it. HOWEVER, these people who call are relentless and rude. I'm in a current civil lawsuit with the bill they are FORCING me to pay. I've had my lawyers contact them asking to wait until the settlement is received and they have told my lawyer to "screw himself" because I owe them money not the court. I am now forced into a biweekly payment plan bc they informed me that they will sue me and report me to my credit bureau for whatever. The reason I was forced into paying was bc they called me over 6 times a day, then they began to call my family members and my job. KNOWING I'm in a current lawsuit regarding this bill. The employees will say anything to scare you into a payment. The supervisor has told me to "get over myself" and to "grow up and pay what I owe". The reason I held off on paying it so long was again, due to a lawsuit I'm currently in with sprint and the other co owner of the account. I've been cussed out by these employees. Very rude. Can't wait to get rid of these people.

Professional and Pleasant to work with

I had an old bill I didn't know about until they called me and I kept forgetting to pay it but I also was trying to buy a house and my credit bureau showed it. They went to great efforts to help me get it paid in time and proof to my lender so I could get my house.

Credit destroyers!

Back in 2006 I misplaced an Excel Energy Bill and so it ended up being an overdue balance and this company bought my account. As soon as I was aware of the bill, I paid it in full to Excel, who then notified this company. They did nothing about it!!! And have been reporting it on my credit report for the last 5 years ! I just found out today and tried calling, had to leave a voicemail. Ridiculous that Collections agency cannot keep track of the money it collects.

Rude Customer Service

I just wanted to let everyone know that I got an alert through my bank that something was added to my credit report. So I called the number given and the customer service person was so rude and very unhelpful. She was yelling at me. All I wanted to know was why they were reported this negative balance to experian. They did not provide an account number and I have a zero balance but they continue to report it to experian.

not so fast

Collectors have a job and if they get paperwork stating someone owes money well guess what? On the other hand if someone has issues with paying bills and allows it to get to a point where it goes to a collection agency, that is not good for no one. And yes it affects your credit score. I was one who thought he knew it all and never paid his bills and well yeah it was not a good thing. I have been working to straighten out my credit score for the last 3years and it really is paying off. I settled on alot of my bills that were sent to collections. Ask to pay less of the amount and usually they will accept. But calling people liars and making it seem as it was there fault for your irresponsibility that is being very immature. All of us need to help our economy somehow, paying our bills is one of the ways. Please do not be discouraged continue working hard at paying what you owe, and by the time you know it thing will be better for all. Thanks

Liars

Diversified will lie to receive payments on your recievables. They tell your customers that they can remove everything from their credit report even though it is already on the credit report for being sent to a collection agency. In addition they will inform your clients that they cannot pay the bill through your company only through them so that they can receive payment. They would rather offer a lower deal than have clients pay the balance to you so that their "success" will look better. They do not record conversations with clients so there is no way to verify what one representative has said. There is no consistancy or truth for a debtor who has questions and wants to settle their debt.
