The Brookwood School is an independent, nonprofit school governed by a board of trustees and is a member of the New York State Association of Independent Schools and Educational Records Bureau. The school educates students in prekindergarten through grade six. It also organizes several special events, such as Harvest Fest, the end-of-the-year play and Grandparent's Day. The school also organizes a monthly all-school lunch gathering, as well as a weekly all-school music sessions. In addition, The Brookwood School offers after-school child care services. The school is located in Cooperstown, N.Y.
