Started in 1990, Self Lube is a U.S.-based manufacturer of precision components for molds, dies and special machines. Housed in a 26,000-square-foot facility located in Coopersville, Mich., the company manufactures both self-lubricating and nonlubricating components. Many of the components are also made of aluminum bronze that has high tensile strength and a low coefficient of friction when combined with a moving element made of hardened steel. The components manufactured come in use while guiding or controling some form of linear motion, often under considerable load. Self Lube is an ISO 9001:2008 company, assessed and registered by Intertek Testing Services NA Inc.
