Located in Coos Bay, Ore., Millicoma Intermediate School serves more than 500 students in grades five and six. The school promotes a range of athletic programs, such as basketball, cross country, wrestling, volleyball and gymnastics. It offers membership to a chess team and provides participation in Knowledge Bowl and Math Olympiads. Millicoma Intermediate School also offers participation in its morning LAPS program and the accelerated reader program. The school maintains a site council that works for the overall development of the school. It also operates a library that stocks a range of educational and recreational resources. Millicoma Intermediate School is a part of Coos Bay Public Schools.
