Walter G. O'Connell Copiague High School serves more than 1,500 students in grades nine through 12. The school offers educational programs in English, science, social studies, foreign language, math, fine arts, physical education and business. It also provides special education to students with special needs. Additionally, the school offers a wide variety of elective courses, such as drama, sports and entertainment marketing and criminal justice. It also provides opportunities for students to explore their potential through programs, such as internships and senior projects, as well as extracurricular activities that include music, art and athletics.
