If you are looking for a great place to work with animals and really fun people, good pay, and a great benefit plan. YOU'VE GOT THE WRONG COMPANY!!!! These people are sooo judgemental, believe lies that come out of clients mouths it is so unreal. I don't know how the residents are down in Copperas Cove but man are they so snobby to say that I don't even greet them and I have been during my first couple days of employment. Annette the manager made an offensive comment about my hair smelling bad. (which it doesn't because I smelled it and it smells like hair lotion/moisturizer) That alone turned me away!! Then there's the receptionist supervisor who says im doing a good job to my face, then turns around and says im not greeting people when I am. I even had a conversation with a client at one point. When I asked the receptionist supervisor about why she says im not greeting people, she says "I'm not going to argue with you." This place was promising during my working interview but now I think I just need to stay within my city limits and find employment there. There are many cheaper and better places to go to that this crummy place!! Animal Medical Center---- more like Judge/Discriminate you Center!Aztec, Pet Medical Center, El centro, those are much more better areas. F--k ya'll !!

Very professional caring group of people. Our 1year old Jack Russell Terrier who is a much needed vineyard working dog had surgery by Dr. Kahil for a crushed femur head(top of the back leg bone). He has healed and back to guarding vines. Everyone treated our Cooper like a human kid and we really appreciated the follow up phone calls to check on the furry kid after surgery by the doctor himself! I'm so glad we drove the hour down from Crawford to Copperas Cove. I would recommend these folks to everyone- they are fantastic!

My dog was refusing to eat or play. Dr. Henton recommemded a full work up (xrays, blood, urine, thyroid, - the works) due to her age. Cost for the visit $600 - diagnosed with minor infection. After 10 she was no better so we returned and saw Dr Hughes - she performed more xrays and blood work. Said she had no idea what was wrong and recommended a dental cleaning. Prescribed more antibiotics. After 10 days still no better - saw vet in Austin who looked at the xrays they did and saw something and immediately order a ct scan. There it was a huge tumor on her lung. After surgery to remove it, she is fine. Why could he see what Henton and Hughes could not? Apparently, they intended to perform all the procedures they could before telling me she had a tumor or else they are just incompetent.

Our Dobie required extended treatment over 10 months for a fungal infection. Dr. Henton was knowledgeable, caring and understanding of the situation. On occasions where the prognosis was guarded, Dr. Henton was available after normal business hours to give advice concerning treatment. She took the time to fully explain the situation and circumstances of the illness. The fungal medication was not easily found or inexpensive. Dr. Henton worked with me to find a pharmacy able to provide the medication and with the best price. My contact with the staff ranged from twice weekly to monthly - many more visits than the normal yearly appointments for checkups and vaccinations. I found the staff, from Dr. Henton and the reception personnel, to the technicians that prepared the examination room and took her vitals and any needed blood work, not only to be professional, but also courteous, friendly and caring. On our many visits for her treatment and tests, our âGirlâ was actually excited and happy as she entered the clinic. When she had lesions on her feet due to the infection, even if I did not see the technician, we would find a blanket in the examination room for her comfort.I can only give the highest recommendations for the Animal Medical Center.

The entire staff of Animal Medical Center is wonderful. I cannot say enough about the treatment of my dog and the wonderful way we were dealt with. Our greyhound had been previously mis-diagnosed by another veterinarian with allergies and a pulled muscle when actually she had a large nasal tumor and an osteo-sarcoma. Benadryl and doggie asprin was prescribed by the other vet, what a mistake! AMC, and moreover, Dr. Henton, helped us with the REAL diagnosis and the following treatment. Dr. Kahil was wonderful in his surgical procedure. Dr. Hughes was always available when the other Dr.s weren't around. This was truly a hard situation but with the incredible staff at the AMC we were able to make the most of the time we had left with our beloved Katie. I would be very happy to rave on and on about these fine folks, but go see for yourselves. I won't take my fur kids anywhere else, period. I tell anyone who might need to know where I take my 4 legged family members, Animal Medical Center.

THE WORST DOCTORS & STAFF!! WHAT HAPPENED? We have used your hospital forever and was very upset with the quality of service and care with our visit in Oct 2011. Your new management is very unprofessional, your staff is rude and uncaring, and you seem to only care about money. And I could hear all of the doctors and staff speaking poorly about clients while I sat in that room. You will never my pet again!!!!!!!!!!

The doctors and staff at Animal Medical Center are extremely helpful, caring and treated my dog like part of the family! Dr. Kahil has dedicated his life to treating and caring for animals. Because of Animal Medical Center, Copperas Cove my dog gets to spend more time with our family! Thank you for all that you have done and continue to do for the pets we all consider to be family!!!

THE WORST DOCTORS, MANAGEMENT & STAFF!! WHAT HAPPENED? We have used your hospital forever, and if we ever had a concern your previous manager was always polite and prompt in responding. However our last visit was disturbing, I am very upset with the quality of service and care with our visit in Oct 2011. Your new management is VERY UNPROFESSIONAL, your staff is rude and uncaring, and Dr. Kahil & Dr Henton seem to only care about money. You will never see my pet again!!!!!!!!!!

My husband and I brought our dog into the clinic for his boosters, we saw that there was a small kitten up for adoption. We spent an hour with the kitten and fell in love with it. The employee told us we could put the kitten on hold so we could make sure we wanted him right now. We came back two hours later and were told that they had decided to give the kitten to an employee. The employee that informed us of this was very short and rude. They have been our vet for the last year and a half, but after how we were treated we will be finding a new vet.

Provided by YP.comI took my 11yr old golden mix in to be evaluated for diarreah and a basic check up for her age. The Vet Tech was not very personable and seemed to be just running through the "steps" of the process. I did have to wait for about 20mins for the vet to finally come in to look at my Sassy and ask questions. I was a little annoyed with the wait. But when the DMV came in, he greated me right away with a hand shake and intorduction. He was great!!! He seemed like he genuinely cared about her well being and age. He took the time to answer ALL my questions and thoroughly look over Sassy. Made a few recomendations to me before he left the room. When the Vet Tech came back in, she seemed a little more personable this time. Maybe she was overwhelmed since it is a popular/busy place.
I will say it seems a bit pricey, but not as bad as VCA or Banfield. Just be prepared to spend quality money for quality service with the Vet. The receptionist's were very helpfull and polite. All in all, I will be taking my Sassy back again. ;.)

Thank you so much for giving us an apt an hour and a half after I called. I adopted my dog from an animal shelter 3 weeks earlier and at 1:30am I discovered that he had tapeworms. Animal Medical Center Copperas Cove gave me an appointment later that day. They treated Nacho great, gave him a stool test, heart worm test, and told me that my Chihuahua (that I thought I adopted) was more Min Pin and about a year old. I called Fort Hood Vet first and they were not willing to see Nacho for at least a week and said that I couldn't get a prescription on my first visit. How can you be willing to let a dog suffer with worms???

We have been taking our "puppies" dogs really to the Cove Animal Clinic since they were on the other side of the street, and we have always had wonderful care and all the staff from the Doctors to the Technicians at the door have treated us and our Boys with kindness and utmost understanding, just yesterday we lost our last little dog name Rusty he was my Pops puppy, and we Lost Pop's in December 09, and Rusty has been waiting on him to come home ever since by the door every night at 5:30p.m. then scratching at his bedroom door every evening at bedtime waiting to snuggle with Papa, for 10 months now he has been waiting and then suddlenly he turned very ill and started having seizures and Cove Animal Clinic was their for us when we needed them in an emergency and has tried everything to help, but our buddy just couldn't do it, so we had to let him go yesterday and the Dr. and Kristen were their by our sides while we said our last good byes to beloved Rusty. tears even came to their eyes

The Animal Medical Center in Copperas Cove is simply unmatched. My cat came in very very sick. She was a Persian, which makes her very prone in nephrology issues. The staff and Doctors, yes, more than one cared for her, treated her as if she were their own. The very fact that the doctors consulted with each other and got me automatic second opinions without the extra cost of doing it myself, proves to me that they want the BEST for each animal and they make sure what they are doing is the right thing. They have a lab and xray right in the office, so you do not have to wait to see exactly what is going on with your animal. I thank God that I have the fortune of sending my babies to this very skilled and friendly clinic.

We were sent to Dr. Kahil at Copperas Cove Medical Center when our sweet Ginger needed emergency back sugery for a herniated disc that left her back legs completely paralyzed. Dr. Kahil was awesome. He took so much time with Ginger, was very attentive to her and very sweet to her, explained things to me thoroughly regarding why the discs left Ginger paralyzed; where they were in her back; what would be done during the surgery, etc. Then afterwards he took me back to her, explained how she was doing and what to expect throughout the next few weeks of her surgery, etc. Ginger was walking the day after surgery; and my husband and I know that Dr. Kahil worked a miracle for her. Dr. Kahil has a God given gift for helping animals heal. We are so glad our veteranarian in Waco sent us to him and so thankful that our little girl can walk again. She doesn't even remember she was ever paralyzed! She is so happy and healthy now! The staff at the clnic is wonderful, caring, and you can see
