I don’t even know where to start. These Doctors are truly humans. Beyond compassionate and truly caring. We brought our frenchi here thinking she had a tooth abscess. Dr Onate immediately noted it was not a tooth and was a tumor. She didn’t try selling us expensive treatments or scans etc. she clearly showed me the lump on the side of her face was obstructing her breathing passage, affecting her eye and most likely causing her immense pain. I was reluctant to putting her down at the moment because I wanted to give her a chance. To see if she would miraculously get better or something. The doctor hesitantly agreed. So I took her home and made sure she had the best meals she could ever have ( not the dry kibble ) she enjoyed 6 more days with us. She started deteriorating and we did not want her to suffer. We returned to Dr Onate and although her office was packed with other animal patients, She and husband made my dog, Olivia a priority. She re-examined Olivia and showed us how her tumor was affecting her, she had anemia, gums were pail white, and the licking of her paws reflected anxiety. She assured us there was nothing further do do. Olivia rested in peace today. Thank you Dr Onate for you compassion and for the compassion of your staff too. Olivia is in a better place.
