I was told to put my mother in Hospice were she was they tranfer her to Kindred, and she got better. The care is excellent. The nurses, cna and respiratory are wounderful. They treat you like family,. I recommend this Hospital to any one, is clean I doesn't smell like Hospital even the cleaning lady's are very nice and helpful. God bless you all. My mother is at home very happy and she is fine.

Family comes last at Kindred. Visiting hours cut short since May 1st. You are put down by their favorite "years of experience" line should you have any input or questions regarding your loved ones. Doctors are nearly impossible to talk with, as they come in and out of room with hardly a word or two to say about your loved ones. Good luck calling their offices, as their answering staff may not treat you well over the phone. Nursing is OK, but they are understaffed and overworked. Your loved ones may suffer from new bedsores and infections due to leaving them soiled in their beds for too many hours. Building is old and shows signs of disrepair i.e. holes in windows, rusted metal framing, toilets prone to clogging, etc. Mosquitoes are everywhere as you enter (no bug lamps installed). Expect rudeness 75% of the time when you call to ask how your loved one is doing. Long waits. Case managers and directors literally sigh in disgust when you come to them for help or questions regarding your loved ones. Till this day they will not divulge the temperature of the oxygen given to my grandfather via ventilator. There is a possibility of hypothermia due to brain cooling at low temperatures (as published by Dr. George P. Ford & Dr. David C. Reardon on Medical Science Monitor, 08/01/2006: https://www.medscimonit.com/download/index/idArt/452867). Your loved ones may be purposely sedated into a coma! Please stay away from this place. Dread the Kindred! You and your loved ones deserve better.
