Provided by YP.comFour of us headed out to experience some Portuguese cuisine with our expectations set pretty high. We drove to Old Lisbon in Miami (we are in Broward) and we were greeted by an attentive staff, a quaint and homey atmosphere and an array of delicious, enticing, culinary treats. We started with a velvety, delicate Caldo Verde (potato/collard soup) which I now regret having to “share” with my husband who absolutely out scooped me. I ordered their grilled seafood platter which was cooked to perfection and served with potatoes. My husband order Feijoada de Mariscos – a delicious hardy stew of white beans and plentiful mixed seafood served with rice. Our friends had the Seafood Rice which was served in a small ceramic bucket and the Eggplant dish – both were divine. For dessert we had the Delicia de Fatima which luckily was served in a large martini glass since there were 4 spoons competing for entry. We also order the less exciting Port Cream Caramel – basically a flan with a port wine sauce, just ok.
5 stars, you must go and feel free to share entrees they are HUGE. Lovely place, awesome food, lunch is probably better for your budget but either way well worth the trip from anywhere!
