Provided by YP.comThis company is a scam! I was quoted what I thought was a great price for my move. I was told it would only take 6 hours. In the end my move was 14 hours not the 6 that i was initially quoted. My sales person seemed very cool at first & understood my situation. What I could not understand at first is that my paperwork began with Continental Van Lines. By the time I received my completed contract their company name had changed to Moving America of Tampa. I was told this is their sister company. After going online and contacting the DOT i found out that they have no License to move anyone. I had to do everything possible not to drive to their office & punch Greg my sales person in the face. To make it worse he told me he was the General Manager of the company. I have missing items, torn sofa, chipps on my tables & dressers. I had wet furniture that ruined the finish & wet boxes that fell apart. I was told by the movers that the truck has a hole in the roof and when it rains stuff gets wet. They told me to call the office and make a complaint. Do Not Use This Company If You Value Your Wallet & Belongings!!!!

Provided by YPmobileMy appointment was rescheduled without my knowledge or permission post confirmation. I was unable to get my original appointment back and unable to get in touch with the person that booked me (didnt return phone calls). Since my appointment started later than scheduled I was unable to move my mom into her new place (condo hour rules) so her belongings had to sit on their truck in their lot and she had no furniture. One of the movers was fantastic which is the only reason I gave the company two stars. The others were ok but slightly careless and many of my moms items were damaged. An unfortunate experience.

Provided by YP.comThis was a beautiful experience. Everyone in the office was up front with pricing, patient with my questions and many calls, and just all around super. The crew was respectful, worked hard, and finished much sooner than I had expected. Please let the owner know what a great job Elias and his boys did for me!

Provided by YP.comI have moved literally 20 times in my lifetime, and every time I moved I always had one thing or another go wrong with the movers I hired, and each time I moved I would try to do all my research to find yet another mover who could do better than the one before it. So when I called Continental Van Lines as a first time customer naturally I was a little reluctant to reserve my move with them. I did my research on Continental Van Lines and yes, there were some bad reviews, but no more and no less than the rest of the moving companies out there, so I took a chance and reserved my move with them. I appreciated that my salesman, Tyler, was very real with me. In return for his honesty I promised him if my move went smooth, without any problems, hidden fees, schedule problems, damages, the whole 9!...then I would write good reviews for him online. You kept your end of the bargain, Tyler, so it’s only fair I keep mine. Here you go! Thanks again!

Provided by YP.comI have moved several times in the past 3 years for my job, but this was my first time using Continental. I was a bit hesitant when booking my move because I have had so many bad experiences in the past. I worried about my things being handled properly, or worse, tons of hidden over-charges. Thankfully I had nothing to worry about with Continental all along. Their staff was even there in the office to answer all of my questions while their drivers unloaded my things on a Sunday! Moving is already stressful enough, and since I do it so often I needed it to go as smoothly as possible. Continental had the resources to make that happen for me.

Provided by YP.comMy moving from Miami to Orlando was a nightmare, they scratch my furniture and lost several boxes. I hired this company because I was surprised they were rated B- by the Better Business Bureau, www.bbb.org . This company has been in business just for 5 months, they don’t have a real office and they don't have their own trucks. They just have a mailbox address. It is important you make some research before hiring a moving company to avoid being scammed. Try to find a moving company that have been in business at least five years, and do not hire a moving broker like this one. Continental Van Lines Inc in Florida was rated B- because is taking advantage of the reputation of Continental Van Lines, a totally different company located in Seattle and not related at all with Continental Van Lines Inc.
Stay away from this company if you don't want to be fooled.
I represent Continental Van Lines in the customer service department. We have never moved a customer from Miami to Orlando as we are only licensed to do out of state moves. This fraudulent review was posted by another moving company called Nationwide Relocation Services, owned by Aldo Disorbo (goggle these to find out more). He is trying every which way to hurt our company. This man does not believe that others should have the freedom to compete in this industry.

Provided by YP.comI hired this guys to move my furniture from Tamarac, FL to Atlanta, GA. They showed up late, scratched my furniture, and they broke valuables things I had in one box. Their customer service is terrible. I called their customer service number several times to file a claim but they never answer. I called to their principal phone number but they reused to transfer my call to customer service, they put me in hold and then the call dropped.
I represent Continental Van Lines in our customer service department. Our records do not show a customer that we have moved from Tamarac, FL to Atlanta, GA. This is another fraudulent review posted by Aldo Disorbo's company, Nationwide Relocation Services. It is unfortunate that companies can go online and bad mouth a competitor with no checks by web administrators.
