The Coral Springs Fire Department is a full-service public safety agency located in Coral Springs, Fla. The department works to protect the lives, property and environment of the city of Bangor from the threats and occurrences of emergencies. Its services include hazardous materials response, fire prevention, business inspections, and search and rescue. The Coral Springs Fire Department also maintains a training division. It manages Coral Springs Fire Academy, which provides in-service and training programs for firefighters from throughout the South Florida area and serves the training needs offers over 35 departments in several counties in Florida. The Coral Springs Fire Department is operated by the city of Coral Springs, which operates through building, human resources, parks, police, public works and recreation departments.
