I've never had anything but top-notch experience with this office. Dr. Summer Young is wonderful, deep knowledge and with a very good "chair-side" manner. The staff is very helpful and will work with you to make sure you understand the charges you will be responsible for.



I've been to other dentists, and regretted it deeply (my pocketbook did as well). Other dentists are not as clear with you on what the charges will be prior to treatment, and then you have huge surprises when the bill comes.



Sage Dental is a large organization, and I've been to several offices in the area for specialty procedures. Always a good experience.

If you have a DHMO plan, or any plan for that matter, Do not go here or any Sage Dental. I went to the Parkland office for a check up and cleaning when it was Gentle Dental about 9 months ago. After my checkup they refused to do my cleaning saying I needed a deep cleaning. The dentist and hygienist told me I had had early stage periodontal disease and gum pockets 4 to 5 milometers deep. The deep cleaning would not be covered by my insurance and would cost $300 per visit and needed to be done every three months for a year. It is also quite painful. I asked why can't they just do the regular cleaning and I would come back another time for the deep cleaning but they absolutely refused. I was skeptical so waited 6 months to see another dentist after i changed my insurance. I was told I have no signs of periodontal disease and my gum pockets were 2-3 millimeters which is normal. They said Gentle Dental was well known for recommending unnecessary cleanings with DHMO plans because they don't make much money on standard cleanings. So they will hit up everyone for deep cleanings to rob their clients for unneeded services. Sage/Gentle dental is a corporation and profit is their main concern. The people may be nice and polite but I will never trust or recommend them to anyone.

Horrible! I've never been so humiliated in my life! And it's true, they do not do regular cleanings! Only $512.00 Perio Deep Cleaning. Last time they did the X-rays, my jaw was dislocated, this took 3 months before I could move my mouth. Last week went in had a toothache, they printed out over $10000.00 of things that the dentist wants to do. I was pleading please just fix this tooth. She wanted to do a crown that will take a few weeks, again I beg please just fix it today. She did but wasn't real happy. Then there's the billing woman. She shouts out "you need to get that crown" I was so embarrassed there were patients sitting. I told her I am disabled, have no money. I used my care credit card to pay. She had me pay in advance for this weeks filling also, said I had to spend over $300.00 to get interest free for 6 months. I later read, that's not true, according to care credit the amount is $200.00. Due to the stress from the billing woman, I ended up having a seizure when I got home. Today the dentist refused to do the filling due to the seizures. Even though I was made to pay in advance. She knew I got seizures, yet she worked on me last week. Today she says she needs to get an authorization from my Dr. GD got the $$ I still have a toothache. They did want me to take pain pills, told them I don't do those, I get seizures! Please just fix my tooth.

RUN DON'T WALK AWAY FROM THEM!!!!! They sell you contracts that include 2 free cleanings, exams and x-rays and refuse to honor them. They insist on pulling teeth instead of filling cavities and selling you implants, bridges and partials instead (giving you the hair raising prices ONLY AFTER pulling the teeth). I REPEAT RUN !!!!!
