Born and raised in Cedar Rapids, IA. Dr. Bildstein spent 5 years working at a community hospital in New York focusing on the diagnosis and treatment of ocular disease arising from illness such as diabetes, hypertension and thyroid diseases. She attended the Southern College of Optometry in Memphis, TN and graduated in 2003. Dr. Bildstein went on to complete a two-year fellowship and masters program at Ohio State University School of Optometry, specializing in cornea disease and contact fitting.
