Pillar To Post Home Inspectors - James & Kara Shields

We were referred to Kara and James Shields by our real estate agent, whom we trust. However, Kara and James Shields missed several big ticket items on our home inspection - as evidenced by a follow-up inspection by a different, more thorough, company. They said they would issue a refund and that it would take 2 weeks. However, it has been 2 weeks, I have sent 3 emails, left a voicemail, and called corporate and have received no response.

Some large items that Kara and James missed are as follows:
Crack in the furnace
Gas leaks in furnace
Cracks/holes in foundation
A very wet kitchen wall (which they did find after I told them about it - though, their inspection of the kitchen was already complete)
Wet kitchen ceiling
And more...

Overall, do not spend money with this company. If you want a solid home inspection that goes above and beyond the minimum, please call Eagle Home Inspection. We have now had 3 home inspections conducted with them, and each has far surpassed our expectations.
