I feel obligated to tell u all that this place is awesome. The NEW owners make u feel like family,not customers. The WiFi does stink. I have no cell service their either and guess what??I loved it!! I did not melt without technology. My husband and I stayed here for 2 nights a few days ago. The pond is great. Downside?? Neighbors with obnoxious barking dogs. People of your dog's can't be well behaved then DO NOT BRING THEM!! They barked several times thru out
both nights. I did not say anything to the owners of was not their fault...they allow pets.We will definitely go back. A lot.

My husband and I are both veterans. My husband has a service dog due to his severe medical conditions. He has to wear glasses and a hat all the time. That being said our cabin/duplex had no way to block the sun from coming in. Also no privacy from the front and back doors you can see right into our room. Not to mention this is our 10 year anniversary. So in an attempt to fix this issue, the owners put black trash bags on our doors which looked horrible but didn't fix the issue because they had really cheap blinds on the windows and the sun blasted my husband in the morning. (Sheer curtain on blinds that did not shield out any light). Amount those problems there was a DJ that we knew would be playing, just didn't know they would have the speakers turned towards the only 2 buildings they had. They also had the DJ playing till 11pm and after the kids left, all he was playing was dirty foul music. Another issue was they demolished the whole back area of the walking trail, so the 86 acres that we should have been able to sight see on was gone. Another couple and us were looking for these trails that were not marked off, let me rephrase there was 1 half plate that was supposed to lead us to the lake that was in walking distance. We reserved 2 nights were charged 1 month in advance for our room. Total price $297.00 for 1 night because we couldn't take having our vacation ruined anymore. We asked for 1 night refund due to all these issues. But we were denied. Sadly making money is there number 1 goal. Oh by the way they did offer us a discount on a so called honey moon sweet the would have ready by next year.

DO NOT GO TO!!!! This place is a total joke! The owners come off nice but when you leave they are insanely rude, especially the husband! They inspect the cabins with a fine toothed comb when you are ready to leave. (Oh and if you don't wait to walk around with them when you leave they charge you extra for that too) You walk around with them and they pick things out that were there when you got their. Like their ghetto, already broken plastic chairs "THAT YOU CANNOT MOVE OFF THE PATIO"!!! One broke by simply sitting in it and they charged $20 for a new one when you can get them at Walmart for $5!!!! They also tried to charge a minimum of $50 (for his maintenance man to come out and fix) for a closet being off the track from THEIR towel hangers hanging on the door! He tried to say we tried to force it back on the track which is a lie!!! We asked if we fixed it could he not charge us and he said yes; luckily our guy was able to fix it. If "Extra" cleaning needed to be done, that was an additional fee. If the linens had to be scrubbed, that was an additional fee. (Why would the linens have to be scrubbed?)



Their WIFI didn't work at all, which isn't a big deal but they brag about it, so it should work right?



There were mouse droppings in all the kitchen draws (which of course was our fault too, even though they were there when we first got there) as well as the bedrooms upstairs!



We were not a group of college kids messing up their cabins, or rowdy people. We came off the lake at night and ate and slept; that's it! We cleaned better than I guarantee anyone of their cabin quests have cleaned!



This couple is a joke and if they continue to treat their customers like this, not only will they not be getting returning customers but they will not be in business long. They brag about their 4 star rating on Facebook, they gave that to themselves!!!



Bottom line, DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY HERE, FIND OTHER CABINS OR CAMP SPOTS!

If you want someone to make judgements about you that are incorrect and judgmental this my be the place for you.

If you want the owners in your business this my be the place for you.

Myself and both my brother In laws left early on the 4th weekend because of the owners.

Wifi is a totally inaccurate it doesn't work in two of the premium spots we had. We had 3 camp sites.

Called me up giving me grief about my son getting there before I did but didn't have a problem taking his money to fish.

Price gauging, bring what you need or you will pay out your nose. A bottle of propane that is $5 for 2 at Walmart is $10.

We won't be back and are letting all our friends and family know to stay away.
