Macon-Hall Elementary School serves more than 1,000 students in grades kindergarten through five. Located in Cordova, Tenn., the school is affiliated with the Shelby County School. It was founded in 1997 and its facilities include mobile computer labs, art and music classrooms and a gymnasium. The school s curriculum includes reading, physical education, special education, music, language art, spelling and vocabulary, English, math, science, social studies and basic skills. Its cafeteria includes a stage area for programs and performances. The school s parent-teacher association is active in organizing activities and programs in the area of cultural arts, environmental education, library, safety, spirituality and family. Its special programs include parent-teacher association programs, honors assemblies, music programs and school-wide immersions.
