My husband received bad gas from Lou's Place. His tank was empty on his Tacoma that he bought brand new in 2009. He stopped at Lou's place to get ethanol free gas because he doesn't drive the truck very often. The next morning he tried to crank his truck up. The truck wouldn't even catch. He had a rollback take it to the Toyota Dealership, which notified him the NEXT day that the gas sample they had sent off was 91% ethanol. My husband politely notified the owner of the gas station of the situation. The owner advised he would have a sample sent off to be tested. At this point, we understood that it is probably the gas company and not the station that provided bad gas. My husband and his father went together to get a sample of the gas from the station. The gas was sent off and tested, again, 91% ethanol. We received the test results within a week of sending them off. The gas station owner however, after 2 months, has advised he still hasn't received his results. Sounds fishy if you ask me. My husband had to make a trip to south Florida. 60 miles south of Miami, his truck was once again failing him because of all the debris from the bad gas. In the heat of the moment, I stopped by the station to speak with the owner on the way home. I caught him in 3 lies within our 5 minute conversation. Plus, he had the audacity to ask me, "Well why is he still driving it then." My response, "What the hell else is he going to drive?" I'm not a money tree. It's now been almost three months, still no phone call from him. No help. And almost $2,000 in the hole. And will be $18,000 in the hole if his truck doesn't get straightened out. I conclude that this man is a bad and dishonest business owner. I hope he puts himself in our shoes and wonders how he would want to be treated in this situation. We are good, hard working people. We both work government jobs, so we can't really pull money from our asses every time something is destroyed
